Outdoor Season Kicks Off In San Antonio

Jamaira Ross broke the school record in the 800m, clocking a time of 2:26.18. This earned her a 21st place finish overall. 

Ross also had a strong outing in the 5000m run finishing in 2nd place. She finished with a time of 18:37.68. Cadence Long-Torres finished in 4th place clocking a time of 19:53.07. 

Brianna Behrendt broke two school records at the meet. Behrendt finished in 16th place in the Shot Put by throwing 12.53m, and 9th place in the discus with a throw of 45.36m. 

Mercedes Glover had a top 10 finish in the Hammer Throw. Glover finished in 6th place with a throw of 50.33m. 

Kaylan Swindle finished in 9th place in the Javelin with a throw of 34.41m. 

The Ranger Track and Field squads will be back in action in Shawnee March 27th for Oklahoma Baptist's All-Comers Meet.
