KENNEDALE, Texas -  Northwestern Oklahoma State was defeated in the third game of the series against Southern Arkansas Monday afternoon by a final score of 10-0, as the Muleriders claim the series 2-1 over the Rangers

At the Plate

• Leading the offensive effort for Northwestern was Jacob Long as he went 2-for-3 on the day.
• Xyruse Martinez, Thomas Bess, and Cooper Stanley all recorded on hit a piece in the contest as well. Bess also added a steal to his stat line. 
   

The K Zone

• Starting off on the mound for the black-and-red was Pat Delano who threw 4.1 total innings, allowing three earned runs on two hits and struck out one batter.
• Matt Bickford came in for relief as he would toss 0.2 innings in the contest. 
• Brody Ausfahl aided the pitching effort by throwing a total of 2.0 innings in the game and Trevor Rakers pitched the final 0.1 inning of the game for Northwestern. 
   

Game Changer

• Southern Arkansas was able to take advantage of getting runners on base as the Muleriders scored 10 total runs in the game while only leaving six runners stranded. Northwestern however left seven total runners on base and could not find a way to get them in.
• The Rangers also committed two defensive errors in the match-up which also aided to the Southern Arkansas victory. 
   

On Deck

• Northwestern will return home for a two game series with NSIC opponent, Bimidji State. The series will begin Tuesday at 6 p.m. and will wrap up, Wednesday at 1 p.m.
