Alva, Okla. - Northwestern Oklahoma State Women's Soccer fell to conference rival Southwestern Tuesday night by a final score of 6-1. 
 
Individual Leaders
  • Yazmin Gomez led the offensive charge for the Rangers with 2 shots both of them being shots on goal and one of them finding the back of the net for a goal.
  • Kelsey Henneha had 2 shots as well with 1 of those being a shot on goal.
  • Hollie Pankake recorded 2 shots but none went the way of the goalkeeper.
  • Briana Legaspi had a solid effort in goal for Northwestern recording 16 saves.
 Game Changer
  • The Bulldogs jumped out to a quick 2-0 lead to start the game.
  • Northwestern was able to gain some momentum going into the break with a goal midway through the first period by Yazmin Gomez.
 
News and Notes
  • Northwestern scored their first goal of the season, which also happened to be Yazmin Gomez first on the season as well as her first in her Ranger Career.
