ALVA, OKLAHOMA - Northwestern Oklahoma Football has announced their 2023 schedule as it has been finalized for the upcoming season. The 2023 schedule will include 11 games with them all being within Great American Conference play. The Rangers will play in six home games and five road games for their 11 games on the schedule.
Northwestern will be led by new head coach Ronnie Jones as he enters his first season as head coach with the Ranger Football program.

Northwestern's home opener will be the first game of the season this year as the Rangers host Arkansas- Monticello on Thursday August 31st with a 6:00 PM kickoff to start the season.
Continuing with the night games as the first five games will be 6:00 PM kickoff the Rangers will travel to Ouachita Baptist for week two as they face the Tigers in Arkadelphia on Saturday September 9th.
After their road trip to Arkadelphia the Rangers return home to face the Crimson Storm of Southern Nazarene for a game on Saturday September 16th.
The Rangers will then hit the road for two straight games on the road starting first in Oklahoma against Southeastern Oklahoma State in Durant on September 23rd before traveling to Arkansas the following week. On September 30th the Rangers will face Arkansas Tech in Russellville for the final kickoff of the season at 6:00 PM.
Rangers will be welcomed back on October 7th for the 2023 annual homecoming games as Northwestern is set to face Harding University with kickoff set for 4:00 PM. This will be the first of two straight home games as the following week East Central comes to town with kickoff set for 2:00 PM.
For weeks eight and nine the Rangers will hit the road for the final two road games of the season with one in Oklahoma and the other in Arkansas like earlier in the season. First being in Shawnee for the final night kickoff of the season at 7:00 PM before going to Henderson State back in Arkadelphia for the final road game in 2023 on October 28th.
The final two weeks of the season will both be home games as Southern Arkansas comes to Alva on November 4th with a 2:00 PM kickoff before the final home game of the season as the Rangers take on the rival Southwestern Oklahoma State on November 11th with a 3:00 PM kickoff.
