TOPEKA, KANSAS - Northwestern Oklahoma State Women's Track and Field team competed in their first indoor meet of the season hosted by Washburn University Saturday afternoon.
The Rangers in the 60M event were led by Harmonie Hughes with a time of 7.95 placing in the top 20 with a 16th place finish. She was joined by three others in the top thirty as Gabriella Hall ran a 8.10 placing 26th overall, followed by Brianisha Rolling in 29th at 8.12 and Mariya Hamlin with a 8.12 as well.
Cadence Long-Torres placed in the top10 of the 1000M run as she ran a 3:28.18 for a sixth place finish in the event.
Ava Miller led the way for the Rangers in the one mile run as Miller ran a 5:40.29 placing 11th overall in the event. Cadence Long-Torres was 12th in the event with a time of 5:40.33.
The high jump Mariya Hamlin placed in the top 10 overall with a ninth place finish with a mark of 1.45m.
The Rangers were led by Gabriella Hall who placed in the top three for the long jump. Hall finished with a mark of 5.51M for a second place finish in the event. Brianisha Rolling was 16th overall followed by Hannah Betts for the other two Rangers in the top 20.
Harmonie Hughes was one of three Rangers in the top 10 of the Triple jump. Hughes led the way with a second place finish at 11.65M followed by Olivia Sipos, and Jenesis Tomlinson. Sipos was eighth overall with a mark of 10.67 followed by Tomlinson in 10th with a mark of 10.47M
