ALVA, Okla. -- Just a couple of weeks removed from earning First-Team All-Great American Conference honors, Joby Saint Fleur has found himself on  the Division II Conference Commissioners Association Super Region #3 team.

Defensive End from Winter Haven, Fla., Saint Fleur recorded a fantastic season in 2015 as he has now earned two first-team honors, first for the GAC and now for the CCA. He is one of three defensive linemen to earn the award. 

Saint Fleur's numbers were outstanding as he was second on the team in tackles with 77, while 17 of those were for loss, good enough for third in the conference. He also recorded 10.5 sacks in the 11 game season, tops in the conference as well as 12th overall in the country. Saint Fleur was also responsible for three forced fumbles, three pass breakups and three QB hurries. He also bolstered his numbers by landing on a fumble as well.

"This is a great honor for Joby and I can't say enough how proud I am of him and how hard he's worked to get to this point," said Head Coach Matt Walter. "We've seen Joby mature a lot on the field over the course of this year and it's very rewarding not only for him, but for us as coaches and the Ranger football team as a whole."

The members of the first team will now advance to the All-American ballot which will be released on Tuesday, December 15.
 
The Division II Conference Commissioners Association encourages and promotes Division II athletics and high standards of sportsmanship as important elements of higher education. The CCA is a key communications link among the conferences as they discuss views, policies and regulations that impact Division II intercollegiate athletics and works closely with the NCAA as a communications channel to NCAA Division II member colleges and universities.
 
The team is voted on by the members of the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) from Super Region #3, made up of football playing institutions in the Great American Conference (GAC), the Great Northwest Athletic Conference (GNAC), the Mid-American Intercollegiate Athletics Association (MIAA) and the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC).
