BETHANY, Okla. - Northwestern Oklahoma State Softball was defeated in game one of this Great American Conference series against the Crimson Storm of Southern Nazarene by a final score of 1-0. 

At The Dish
  • Recording the lone hit for the black-and-red in this match-up was Megan Sanders as she finished the game going 1-for-2 with a double and a walk. 
     
The K Zone
  • Madison Garza started in the circle for Northwestern and threw a total of 6.0 innings, giving up seven hits, one earned run, and struck out three batters.

Game Changer
  • The biggest factor in this contest was the opposing pitcher of Southern Nazarene throwing a one hit complete game shutout and struck out 14 total Rangers.

BETHANY, Okla. - Northwestern Oklahoma State Softball was downed in game two of the doubleheader against Southern Nazrene by a final score of 6-4.


At The Dish
  •  Jordan Haya led the Rangers at the plate in game number two as she finished 2-for-4 with two RBIs, one stolen base, and one double. 
  •  Madison McGraw provided a solid offensive effort as well going 2-for-3 with one double, one run scored, and one walk. 
  • Peyton Garrett and Audrey Estes each contributed the other two RBIs in the match-up for the visiting Rangers. 
     
The K Zone
  • Karly Murray starting things off in the circle for the black-and-red as she went 4.0 innings giving up three earned runs, four hits, and struck out four. 
  • Madison Garza came in on relief as she threw 2.0 innings for Northwestern to close out the match-up.
     
Game Changer
  • Northwestern left a total of nine runners on base in this contest which certainly attributed to the outcome as the Crimson Storm only left seven on base, and was able to bring runners home in key circumstances. 
     


On Deck
Northwestern Oklahoma State Softball will take on GAC foe Southern Nazarene University once again in the series finale in a doubleheader, Saturday March 26, with the first pitch scheduled for 12 p.m. in Bethany, Okla.
