2023 Ranger Soccer Schedule

ALVA, OKLAHOMA - Northwestern Oklahoma State and Head Soccer Coach Alex Piekarski finalized the 2023 schedule for the upcoming year. The schedule will feature eight home matches in Alva while featuring 10 road matches for a total of a 18 matches on the schedule. There are six non-conference matches followed by a 12 match conference schedule.

Following two scrimmages against Southwestern (Kansas) and West Texas A&M, Northwestern will open the season on the road with the first game set for August 31st at Fort Hays State starting at 7:30 PM. After the second game at Newman on Saturday September 2nd the Rangers will host their home opener on Monday September 4th against Nebraska- Kearney at Noon. Northwestern is home against New Mexico Highlands at 6PM. The final non-conference game is scheduled for Saturday September 16th at CSU Pueblo at Noon (MST).

"We are very excited for the 2023 season. We are playing a very competitive non-conference schedule with some quality road games that will prepare us for conference play" sated head coach Alex Piekarski.

The first of 12 conference games opens at home against rival Southwestern Oklahoma State on Wednesday, September 20th at 6:00 PM for the conference home opener. The Rangers will follow this game with two straight on the road against Southern Nazarene on September 23rd and Ouachita Baptist on September 27th.

Rangers return home on Saturday September 30th against Harding with an 11 AM kickoff. The Red-and-Black hit the road for two straight against East Central on October 7th and in Weatherford against the rival Southwestern Oklahoma State on October 11th.

Northwestern hosts two straight home games October 14th against Oklahoma Baptist followed by Ouachita Baptist on October 18th at 4 PM. After a road game against Harding on the 21st of October the Ranger host their final two home games. 

These two games include East Central on October 25th before the final home game on Wednesday, November 1st against Southern Nazarene at 6 PM. The season finale will be on Saturday November 4th at Oklahoma Baptist.
