ADA, OKLAHOMA - The Ranger Women's Cross Country team closed out the season with a final meet of the season. Northwestern placed eighth overall in the meet with 249 points.
Ouachita Baptist led the way with a score of 48 followed by Arkansas Tech and East Central to round out the top three.
Ava Miller was the first Ranger to finish running a 20:11.5 with an average mile time of 6:29.9 as she placed 41st overall in the meet. Jamaira Ross placed 45th overall in the meet with an average time of 6:31.8.
Northwestern Oklahoma State then had Cadence Long-Torres next with a 66th place finish with a time of 21:13.0 and an average of 6:49.7. Reina Gonzales was the next runner in the top 100 as Gonzales ran a 22:07.7.
Azucena Carrillo placed 95th overall in the meet with a time of 22:27.4 with an average mile time of 7:13.6. Next was teammate Elisa Bernardez with a time of 22:33.9 averaging a 7:15.7.
Jaime Torres-Franco finished with a time of 23:56.8 with an average time of 7:42.4 placing 118th in the meet for the Rangers. Angelica Robledo-Gonzalez was next with a time of 24:43.6 and an average mile of 7:57.4.
Claire Dodds was the next Ranger to run with a time of 27:22.3 bringing her average to 8:48.5 and placement of 136.
