ROKEN ARROW, OKLAHOMA - The Ranger Men's Golf Team completed their season Tuesday afternoon at the Great American Conference Championship Tournament. Northwestern placed eighth overall.
Northwestern completed the tournament with round scores of 318-316-305 improving each round for a total of 939. Henderson State won the overall tournament title with an 880 score. Individually Dennis Staykov from Harding won the individual title with a 217.Â
Pierce Geminden led the Rangers with a total of 228 for the tournament with a team low round of 73 coming on day three. Geminden had a team high 30 pars between the three rounds and seven birdies for the tournament. Geminden finished 16th in the tournament.Â
Next for the Rangers was Matti Zerwin who finished with a total of 229 after a round low of 75 on day three placing tied for 17th overall in the tournament. Zerwin had 25 pars in the tournament with a total of eight birdies for the Rangers.Â
Cade Seymour placed tied for 37th in the tournament with a best round of 77 coming on day two of the conference championships. Seymour had a total of 245 after having 23 pars along with four birdies through the three days.Â
The fourth Ranger was Noah Carpenter with a total of 246 with a round low of 81 on day one. Carpenter finished the tournament 39th overall, having 28 pars and three birdies in the tournament.Â
Davan Smith played in the first two rounds having a total of 84 in round one and 86 in the second round, having 18 pars in the tournament with one birdie in the two rounds.Â
Max Courange played in round three having a round of 75 for the Rangers having a total of 10 pars along with three birdies in the round.Â
