Bill Massey is a 1965 graduate who starred in basketball, football and baseball for Northwestern. After his playing days he returned to coach the Ranger football program from 1978 to 1982.

The Enid native set several Ranger quarterback records between 1962 and 1964. In his final season, he completed 55.7 percent of his throws – an efficiency mark that held for over three decades.

In addition to his gridiron accomplishments, Massey was a three-year basketball letterman and a highly-regarded catcher on the baseball diamond.
