Hall of Fame
Cecil Perkins became baseball coach and assistant football coach at Northwestern in 1968 and later assumed the duties of athletic director in 1971. He left Northwestern in 1981 to become athletic director and golf coach at his alma mater – Southwestern Oklahoma State University.

He served on the executive committee of NAIA District 9 for more than 20 years and has won numerous coach of the year awards.

He was inducted into the NAIA Hall of Fame in 1992.

Perkins currently lives in Weatherford with his wife, Patti. They have four children: Mike, Susan, Chad and Anna.
