Kayla Landreth Haskins was a four-year starter from 1981-85 for the Lady Rangers, becoming only the second player in the program’s history to score more than 1,000 career points. The Alva native finished with 1,060 points in her career and is one of only eight Lady Rangers in the 1,000-point club.

She was the most valuable player of the Cameron University Classic as a senior, was selected as an honorable mention all-District 9 performer and was named to the District 9 All-Academic Team.

Haskins is a high school English teacher. She lives in Pilot Point, Texas with her husband, Max, and their two children: Adrianne and Allie.
