Tom Zanca The power-hitting Zanca was a two-time NAIA All-America selection in 1990 and 1991, the first Northwestern baseball player to ever achieve that honor. His junior season on 1990 was one of the finest ever, as he led the NAIA with a .545 batting average while smashing 22 home runs with 65 runs batted in.

Zanca was named the District 9 Player of the Year for his efforts.

He batted .411 the next season with 15 home runs and 65 runs batted in. He tied a school record with three home runs in a single game against Oklahoma Christian University.

Zanca currently lives in Sapulpa with his wife, Kristin, and their three children: Brock, 7, Taylor, 5, and Ally, 1.
